The next day had a very rough start. If you would like the entire story, you will have to reach out to my father-in-law David. The short and sweet version is this. It started by being awoken by a loud hotel room phone reminding me that I need to drop the rental car off. That alone was a horrible way to start. Especially after only four to five hours of sleep. I jumped out of bed ran downstairs and luckily, or so I thought David volunteered (or forced) to go with me. Let me just say this. Running 3-4 red lights within the first few minutes, getting lost in the city and driving the wrong way on a road is not fun while having your father-in-law yell and scare you. My headache intensified in pain with every minute I spent in that car. After spending almost an hour and half completing a task that should have only taken five minutes, we were off for Easter Sunday brunch in beautiful Darling Harbor. Seafood platter anyone?
I am putting some finishing touches on a GoPro video about the Blue Mountains hike so stay tuned for that. I definitely have some catching up to do on these posts with a few work updates and the great weekend we had in Melbourne with our good mates Steve and Lara.
