Australia

After living in Adelaide for the seven months, we moved on to plan B. Follow us throughout our adventures as we try to see as much of this beautiful country as possible before going home.

Hi everyone! So, Anelle and I have figured out the rest of our month. We will spend one more week with Giles, Caroline, Sarah, their dogs Mana and Jack and their horses Maleka and Mirage. We will be heading out to Brissy for a day tomorrow in order to complete a barista course, which we are really looking forward too.

At the conclusion of our time here in Cooroy, we will again make our way back up North to the Mossman region of Northern Queensland. We will be making a few stops along the way; the highlight being a speed boat through the Whitsundays in order to spend a few hours on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

After that, we will be spending September volunteering at a small resort and taking advantage of the time there by exploring the Daintree Rainforest (the oldest rainforest in the world), Cape Tribulation and scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef. And maybe; just maybe we can put our newly acquired barista skills to use at a local cafe.

As you know, the time that we have had here in Cooroy has given us the opportunity to catch up on our posts and GoPro summaries. Below, you will find our most recent GoPro summary of our time in and around Uluru and Kata Tjuta.

On occasion, I second guessed our decision to give it a go here in Australia. I suppose it always natural to second guess big life decision. When I do have those moments, I always look back at everything we have done since landing here last October. For example, working on this video of our time in the heart of Australia simply wipes out any second guessing. Experiences; that's what makes us. Who we are as individuals/couples are a collection of the experiences we have had, and I am proud of the things that we have done. Our professional and personal goals will all come in time. Of that, I am confident.

I will never forget the way the desert looked during sunrise and sunset. My personal favorite was watching the sun rise and witnessing the start of a new day in the desert; the sun's rays revealing the red sands along and the contrasting green bushes and trees. Absolutely incredible. The pictures and videos never do it justice but have a look because it's still pretty good.
