After leaving Cooroy, we completed a 5 day road trip back North to Mossman. On the way, we made a few stops that were highlighted by kayaking with sea turtles, snorkeling and lounging on Whitehaven and swimming below Australia's largest single drop waterfall.

First, some background about how we got involved with HelpX. My mom originally signed up my sister for this online so that she could do some volunteering while Anelle and I were celebrating our one year anniversary. It didn't work out for her as the host cancelled on her a few days before. When my sister returned home, Anelle and I decided to take over the profile. At the time, we were thinking it could be something to fall back on if we couldn't find some work from August-October. As you know, we skipped the working stuff when a couple opportunities fell through because of the lack of time we had left on our work/holiday VISA. As a result, we decided to give Helpx a go.
HelpX is an online listing of host organic farms, non-organic farms, farmstays, homestays, ranches, lodges, B&Bs, backpackers hostels and even sailing boats who invite volunteer helpers to stay with them short-term in exchange for food and accommodation. HelpX is provided primarily as a cultural exchange for working holiday makers who would like the opportunity during their travels abroad, to stay with local people and gain practical experience. That was taken from the site. It's been an absolute blessing!
This post will catch everyone up entirely on our month of July. The last few posts included all the travels throughout July after leaving Adelaide. Our honeymoon (for Anelle) or 1 year anniversary (how I like to think of it) capped off the month of July in style. After camping and braving the cold, we finally got time to relax and be warm. Pools, beaches, hammocks, great food and tropical drinks with umbrellas in them; honeymoon DONE!
